Does your wet food contain Carrageenan?

For our wet food recipes, we use either carrageenan or tapioca starch as a gelling agent/thickener.
There is a lot of literature out there about the use of carrageenan—some good, some bad, and some indifferent. These articles often refer to the use of ungraded carrageenan, known as poligeenan (often confused with carrageenan). We only use food-grade semi-refined carrageenan at an inclusion level of 0.5%, which is perfectly safe and commonly used in human food.
All our recipes are designed according to FEDIAF guidelines, and we work very closely with nutritionists to ensure that your floof is getting the diet and nutrition they need to thrive!
Aall our recipes are hypoallergenic, meaning they’re free from all the common allergens (soy, dairy, gluten, egg, and red meat) and are also free from added nasties like added sugar, salt, or artificial colours, preservatives, and additives.
